About Maternity Photography with RTW
RTW Photography's Orlando maternity portfolio celebrates the final weeks of pregnancy with editorial-quality imagery you'll be proud to print, frame, and pass down. We photograph expecting mothers and growing families at Central Florida's most beautiful outdoor locations — Cypress Grove Park, Kraft Azalea Gardens, Lake Eola, Disney Springs, and private estates — as well as in our climate-controlled Winter Park studio.
When to book your maternity session
Most clients book between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage, the bump is beautifully defined but movement is still comfortable, so we can capture flowing fabric, walking shots, and intimate close-ups without exhausting mom. If you're carrying twins or have been advised to limit travel, we recommend scheduling closer to 26 weeks. Weekday sessions tend to be quieter and we often add a complimentary newborn consultation to maternity packages booked in advance.
What to wear
Flowing gowns, fitted maternity dresses, and form-skimming knits all photograph beautifully. We maintain a curated client closet of designer maternity gowns in cream, navy, mustard, and deep emerald — sizes XS through 3X — so you don't have to shop for a single-use outfit. Partner and sibling wardrobe is coordinated to complement, never match. Detailed style guides, hair and makeup recommendations, and a Pinterest planning board are included with every session.
Studio, outdoor & at-home options
Our Winter Park studio offers controlled lighting, neutral backdrops, and on-site styling — ideal for clients on bed rest or anyone who prefers privacy. Outdoor sessions take advantage of Orlando's golden hour and the dramatic light at Bok Tower Gardens, Leu Gardens, and Canaveral National Seashore. In-home sessions document the nursery, the rocking chair, the windowsill where you imagine reading to your baby — quiet, lifestyle-driven moments that feel timeless rather than posed.
Maternity, newborn & first-year bundles
Many families pair maternity with a Fresh 48 hospital session, a newborn portrait session in the first two weeks, and milestone sessions at six and twelve months. Booking the bundle locks in current pricing and guarantees we are on standby when baby arrives. Heirloom albums, gallery walls, and birth announcement design are available as add-ons.
